Pseudoelasticity in pseudo-binary Fe3(Al1−xGax) single crystals

► We found pseudo-binary Fe3(Al1−xGax) single crystals demonstrated pseudoelasticity. ► The pseudoelasticity was based on reversible motion of 1/4<111> superpartials. ► The dislocation configuration strongly affected the pseudoelastic behavior. ► An appropriate heat treatment was effective in the enhancement of pseudoelasticity.
