Magnetic ordering of anti-Th3P4-type R4X3 and Th3P4-type R3X4 compounds (RÂ =Â Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, XÂ =Â Ge, Sb, Te)

► The Th3P4-type Ce3Te4 and Nd3Te4 order ferromagnetically at ∼5 K and 38 K. ► The Ce3Te4 and Nd3Te4 compounds show a collinear commensurate ferromagnetic order. ► The magnetic order of anti-Th3P4-type compounds is sum of Td′, D2d, C3v and C1v components.
