Fretting wear behavior of bulk amorphous steel

► Fretting wear behaviors of Fe-based BMG were evaluated at different temperatures. ► A linear correlation was found between wear resistance and hardness in BMG system. ► The wear mechanism was associated with hardness softening and surface oxidation.
