A study of time harmonic guided Lamb waves and their caustics in composite plates

► We model surface excited harmonic Lamb wave propagation in a composite plate. ► Green's matrix representation in a frequency-wavenumber domain is used. ► We applied a residue theorem for inverting two-dimensional wavenumber integral. ► We provide representations for displacements in the far-field near to caustics. ► Numeric results are found to be well coinciding with experimental data.
