Positive and negative magnetoresistance in Fe3O4-based heterostructures

► Positive and negative magnetoresistance was found in Fe3O4-based structures. ► The Verwey transition of the Fe3O4/MgO-based structure is located at ∼120 K. ► The spin of Fe3O4 was disturbed by SiO2 and depletion layer at Si interface.
