Enhanced microwave magnetic and attenuation properties of composites with free-standing spinel ferrite thick films as fillers

► Free-standing ferrite thick films are prepared as fillers to fabricate electromagnetic composites. ► Composites show greatly enhanced static permeability and maximum imaginary permeability. ► A relative bandwidth WR of 7-8 can be achieved. ► The thick film filler composite are potential EM attenuation materials.
