Magnetic properties of substituted strontium ferrite nanoparticles and thin films

► The strontium ferrite thin films with perpendicular anisotropy were successfully synthesized by a sol-gel method. ► Variation of effective magnetic susceptibility versus temperature confirms the existence of strong magnetic interaction between ferrite nanoparticles. ► The thickness of ferrite thin films was almost uniform, while the planar views of films indicate the irregular dot array.
