Effect of oxygen pressure on microstructure and magnetic properties of strontium hexaferrite (SrFe12O19) film prepared by pulsed laser deposition

► The SrFe12O19 film deposited on Si(100) with Pt underlayer by pulsed laser deposition. ► The films deposited at 700 °C in different oxygen pressures of 0.025-0.36 mbar. ► The films have perpendicular magnetic anisotropy in all oxygen pressures. ► The film deposited in 0.13 mbar has the highest magnetization and moderate squareness.
