Synthesis of Fe-doped NiO nanofibers using electrospinning method and their ferromagnetic properties

► Fe-doped NiO nanofibers of diameter about 80 nm and length of several millimeters have been successfully synthesized by the electrospinning method. ► The ferromagnetic properties of one-dimensional nanostructured materials were discussed. ► The tests of Raman spectroscopy, superconductivity quantum interference device (SQUID) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) clarify that the room temperature ferromagnetism of NixFe1−xO nanofibers is intrinsic.
