Wake effect in doped graphene due to moving external charge

► We present the wake effect in graphene due to moving charge particle. ► Induced charge density in graphene is calculated with the RPA model. ► Oscillatory wake effect develops in the induced charge density trailing the particle. ► Certain anomalies in these oscillations are found at high particle speeds.
