Beyond the Fourier heat conduction law and the thermal no-slip boundary condition

► A modeling of thermal slip boundary conditions is proposed. ► Theoretical support is provided by Extended Irreversible Thermodynamics. ► Original idea: the heat flux and the flux of heat flux at the boundary surface are taken as independent variables. ► Model is especially useful at subscales: i.e. micro and nano scales.
