- Prazosin modulates release of TRH and TRH-like peptides in rat brain and peripheral tissues. ► TRH and TRH-like peptides have neuroprotective, antidepressant, and anxiolytic effects. ► These peptides may mediate some of the therapeutic effects of prozosin.
