Effects of the organophosphate pesticide Folidol 600® on the freshwater fish, Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus)

► Oxygen consumption and ammonia excretion provide a wider view of fish metabolism. ► The values of hematological parameters increased in Tilapia exposed to Folidol. ► Inhibition of cholinesterases activity in plasma of Tilapia exposed to Folidol reached 95%.
