Inhibitory effect of SPE-39 due to tyrosine phosphorylation and ubiquitination on the function of Vps33B in the EGF-stimulated cells

► Phosphorylation of SPE-39 at Tyr-11 has an inhibitory effect on SPE-39-Vps33B interaction. ► Ubiquitination of SPE-39 is enhanced in EGF-stimulated COS-7 cells and linked to SPE-39 instability. ► SPE-39 has an inhibitory effect on the accelerated downregulation of EGF receptor by Vps33B expression.
