Disparities in the risk of the ER/PR/HER2 breast cancer subtypes among Asian Americans in California

Among the Asian ethnicities, there is marked variability in the demographic and clinicopathologic features of breast cancer. Use of the ER/PR/HER2 subtypes reveals that the risk of the ER−/PR−/HER2−, ER+/PR+/HER2+, and ER−/PR−/HER2+ subtypes varies among the Asian population. The API category, is sometimes, but not always reflective of all Asian women.
