Mutation of zebrafish Snapc4 is associated with loss of the intrahepatic biliary network

► We identified a novel zebrafish mutation, snapc4s445. ► The intrahepatic biliary network degenerates in snapc4s445 mutant larvae. ► The snapc4s445 mutation deletes the Snapc2 interaction domain. ► The Snapc4-Snapc2 interaction is important for the intrahepatic biliary network.
