► The E3 ubiquitin ligase Fbw7 is required for cerebellar development. ► Fbw7 deletion increases N-terminally phosphorylated c-Jun and Notch1 protein levels. ► Concomitant c-Jun deletion partially rescues cerebellar defects in Fbw7-mutant mice.
