Cross regulation between Candida albicans catalytic and regulatory subunits of protein kinase A

► Transcriptional cross regulation between C. albicans BCY1 and TPK genes. ► BCY1 was downregulated in strains of tpk2 null genetic background. ► BCY1 mRNA was upregulated when TPK1 or TPK2 was reintegrated or overexpressed. ► TPK1 mRNA expression increased when BCY1 was expressed.
