Improving system performance for stochastic activity network: A simulation approach

► The performance of stochastic activity network (SAN) was evaluated by Monte Carlo simulation. ► We constructed SAN for drug discovery and development project. ► The simulation identified critical activities and expected completion time. ► The completion time and cost of project can be reduced drastically by chosen strategies.
