Using an objective method for managing the implementation of quality certification in the industry

► We use the Rasch model to define a measure of quality certification for firms. ► A ranking of firms according to factors to get quality certification is obtained. ► A ranking of the more (or less) frequent factors for all companies is displayed. ► Criteria to elucidate the main factors to foster quality improvement are provided.
