Measure of performances of the strong stability method

In this paper, we propose a general approach to “measure” the performance of the strong stability method in queueing theory. This approach is based on discrete-event simulation and Student’s comparison method (Student’s test). We obtain the approximation precision in real situations (or at least, close to reality) which permits us to confirm the efficiency of the strong stability method for resolving concrete problems of queues. As an application, we choose two queueing models. The G/M/1 queue after perturbation of the service time distribution and the M/G/1 limit model for high retrial intensities, after perturbation of the retrial’s parameter.
