Spatial patterns of a prey–predator model in a degenerate environment

In this paper, we deal with a prey–predator model with diffusion in a degenerate environment. We obtain the necessary and sufficient condition for existence of positive steady-states, and observe an interesting spatial pattern when the prey-ability of the predator is weak.
