Remarks on non-interacting conservative spin systems: The case of gamma distributions

We provide precise estimates of the spectral gap and logarithmic Sobolev constants of canonical Gibbs measures associated to gamma   distributions with parameter α≥1α≥1. This is related to the Kannan–Lovász–Simonovits conjecture for simplices and unit balls of ℓpn spaces.
