Evaluating contamination in the Red-billed Chough Pyrrhocorax pyrrhocorax through non-invasive sampling

► We measured contaminants in the feathers of the Red-billed Chough ► We studied contamination in nine localities in Spain, Canary Islands and Italy. ► PBDEs, HCH, HCB, DDT-DDE were measured. ► Red-billed Chough show low to moderate levels of contamination in feathers. ► Trophic position of the species could account for the result we obtained.
