A new radical way to N,N-dimethylaniline hydroperoxide (DMAHP) and its application in organic synthesis

N,N-Dimethylaniline hydroperoxide was obtained when treating N,N-dimethylaniline with NHPI/Co(OAc)2/O2via a radical reaction mechanism. This intermediate has potential application in the synthesis of some important chemical scaffolds.
