Convenient ultrasound mediated synthesis of substituted pyrazolones under solvent-free conditions

Smooth condensation of hydrazine derivatives with various ß-keto esters was performed under solvent-free conditions by using ultrasound irradiation to facilitate the formation of pyrazolone derivatives in good to excellent amounts within very short time periods.
