We discuss an analog/digital active library, expressly conceived for an integrated organic technology, and developed with reference to a public-domain pentacene Organic FET process by Philips. The physics-based model adopted is a dedicated static Organic FET equivalent circuit, here modified to account for dynamic effects. The design of the analog and digital building blocks required in the implementation of low-cost organic RFIDs is discussed through detailed subsystem simulations, with the aim to demonstrate the feasibility of a passive RFID operating at 10 V supply voltage.
