Solvothermal synthesis, structure and catalytic activity of a mixed-valence CuI/CuII complex with 1-D chain structure

► A mixed-valence 1-D polymeric chain complex was prepared. ► The structure of the complex was determined by X-ray analysis. ► The complex was able to catalyze the ketalization reaction.
