Synthesis and characterization of a rare hemiacetalate bridged incomplete Cu4II dicubane cluster

The first polynuclear metal cluster of the hemiacetalate ligand [pyCH(O)(OMe)]−1 has been synthesized, characterized by X-ray structure determination and variable temperature magnetic studies.
