Organocatalytic enantioselective Diels-Alder reaction of 4,4,4-trifluorocrotonaldehyde

Highly enantioselective Diels-Alder reaction of 4,4,4-trifluorocrotonaldehyde was performed with an organocatalyst. The reaction yielded the corresponding cycloadducts with up to 97% ee.
