Stereoselective synthesis of β-fluoroenyne by the reaction of gem-difluoroalkenes with terminal alkynes

• A new method for the stereoselective synthesis of conjugated β-fluoroenynes was reported.
• The reactions of difluoroalkenes with terminal alkynes proceeded efficiently via SNV.
• The addition of potassium orthophosphate is essential for efficient conversion.
