Mechanism of performance enhancement via fluorine doped titanium dioxide nanoparticles in dye sensitized solar cells

Fluorine doping positively shifts TiO2 conduction band, promotes the efficiency of electron injection, reduces the interfacial losses, therefore improves the DSCs' conversion efficiency and results in a significant photocurrent gain.
