New fluorinated xanthene-containing polybenzoxazoles with low dielectric constants

A series of fluorinated polybenzoxazoles (PBOs) containing xanthene moieties derived from a new bis(o-aminophenol), 9,9-bis(3-amino-4-hydroxyphenyl)xanthene were investigated. The obtained PBOs exhibited improved solubility, good optical properties and low dielectric constants, combined with thermal and mechanical properties.
