Synthesis of functionalized fluorinated terphenyls by site-selective Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling reactions of dibrominated fluorobenzenes

A variety of fluorinated terphenyls were prepared by site-selective Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling reactions of dibrominated fluorobenzenes, such as 1,2-dibromo-3,5-difluorobenzene, 1,4-dibromo-2-fluorobenzene, 1,3-dibromo-4-fluorobenzene, and 1,2-dibromo-4-fluorobenzene.
