Synthesis, crystal structures and spectroscopy studies of Mo(IV) complexes synthesized in reactions with kojic acid, maltol and ethylmaltol

Reactions of Mo(IV) cyano complex with OO donating ligands such as maltol, ethylmaltol and kojic acid gave three novel complexes. The physicochemical properties (IR, UV-Vis spectra and cyclic voltammetry measurements), including structures, are discussed and compared with [Mo(CN)3O(LL)]n− complex family.
