Synthesis, structure and characterization of new stibocanes substituted with dithiophosphate ligands

The investigation reports the synthesis of four new stibocanes substituted with cyclic dithiophosphate ligands O(CH2CH2S)2SbS2P(OCH2)2CEt2, O(CH2CH2S)2SbS2P(OCH2)2C(Me)Pr, S(CH2CH2S)2SbS2P(OCH2)2CEt2 and S(CH2CH2S)2SbS2P(OCH2)2C(Me)Pr. The single-crystal structure of two of the compounds were determined and exhibit different types of secondary bonds. The eight membered ring present a boat-chair conformation, while the 1,3,2 dioxaphosphinane ring has the chair conformation, with the stibocane on the axial position.
