Zn(II) complexes with pyridine derived N6 and N8 donor azamacrocyclic ligands

A series of Zn(II) nitrate and perchlorate complexes with different pyridine derived N6 and N8 donor azamacrocyclic ligands were obtained. The macrocyclic ligands and zinc complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, LSI-MS, conductivity measurements and 1H NMR spectroscopy. Also, the crystal structure of the complexes [ZnL](ClO4)2 · H2O, [ZnL1](NO3)2 and [Zn2L2(NO3)2](NO3)2 · H2O were determined.
