Further investigations on the Fe(ClO4)3/RCO2-/phen reaction system: Syntheses, structural and physical characterization of complexes [Fe2O(O2CCCl3)2(phen)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2 and [Fe2O(O2CCMe3)2(phen)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2

Two dinuclear complexes containing the {Fe2O(O2CR)2}2+ core have been synthesized and characterized structurally and spectroscopically by IR and 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopies. Magnetic susceptibility and EPR studies have been carried out on one of them.
