Neutral π-allylpalladium(II) carbene complexes, [H2B(ImR)2]Pd(π-allyl) (H2B(ImR)2 = bis(3-alkylimidazol-2-ylidene)borate, R = Mes, 1a; Cy, 1b; tBu, 1c), and their B–H fluorinated derivatives have been synthesized and characterized by 1H, 13C and 19F NMR, along with X-ray crystal structural determination for 1a and 1c. The results reveal that the Pd(II) ion is in a distorted square planar environment in 1a and 1c, and is coordinated by one allyl ligand and one bis(3-alkylimidazol-2-ylidene)borate ligand.
Three π-allylpalladium(II) carbene complexes, [H2B(ImR)2]Pd(π-allyl) (H2B(ImR)2 = bis(3-alkylimidazol-2-ylidene)borate, R = Mes, 1a; Cy, 1b; tBu, 1c) and their B–H fluorinated derivatives were synthesized and characterized. The molecular structures of 1a and 1c were determined, in which the coordination geometry around the Pd atom is distorted square planar.Figure optionsDownload as PowerPoint slide
