Synthesis and crystal structure of palladium(II) complexes with 2-[3-(diphenylphosphino)propyl]thiophene

The palladium complexes: trans-[Pd(μ-Cl)Cl(P-S3)]2 (I) and trans-[PdCl2(P-S3)2] (II) were isolated from the reaction of 2-[3-(diphenylphosphino)propyl]thiophene (P-S3) with [PdCl2(PhCN)2]. Single crystal X-ray structures of I and II have been determined.
