The 65Cu transverse relaxation in Cu8L6(S) [L = S2P(OR)2, R = iPr or iAm] is found to be very different for different R. EXAFS data for Cu4L4/Cu8L6(S) in solid-state and in solution are provided. Adsorption of KL or L2 (L = S2P(OiAm)2) on chalcocite surfaces is probed and a phase with a {Cu8L6(S)} type structure is detected for both cases.
