Chemistry of mixed-ligand methoxy bonded oxidovanadium(V) complexes with a family of hydrazone ligands containing VO3+ core and their substituent controlled methoxy-bridged dimeric forms

Methoxy bonded mixed-ligand monomeric and methoxy-bridged dimeric VO3+ complexes with a family of benzoyl hydrazones have been synthesized and characterized by various techniques including structure determination by X-ray crystallography. Three of such monomeric complexes along with their methoxy-bridged dimeric forms have been structurally characterized for the first time.
