Phenomenological modeling of the anisotropic molecular-based ringCr7Cd

The properties of the [(CH3)2NH2][Cr7CdF8{OOCC(CH3)3}16] complex are investigated by means of magnetic measurements modeled by two exact techniques: quantum transfer matrix and exact diagonalization. The existence and role of two different types (exchange and single ion) of anisotropy are discussed.
