Crystallography and magnetism of 1-(4-[N-tert-butylaminoxyl]-2,3,5,6-tetrafluorophenyl)pyrrole

The title compound is a stable, highly ring-fluorinated aryl tert-butylnitroxide, the first of this type made by a preparative synthesis. It exhibits chain-like crystal packing motifs, but has magnetic behavior in better accord with spin pairing exchange.
