The low temperature magnetic response of a layered manganese acetate benzoate complex

The low temperature magnetic properties of a manganese carboxylate complex are reported. The magnetic conclusions involve multiple low temperature and applied field transitions including regions of frustration and metamagnetism. A model to qualitatively measure interlayer exchange is proposed by measurement of the exchange anisotropy.
