Isoquinoline derivatives Zn(II)/Ni(II) complexes: Crystal structures, cytotoxicity, and their action mechanism

Three Zn(II) and Ni(II)-soquinoline complexes were synthesized and exhibited high cytotoxicity against various tumor cells with certain selectivity to tumor and normal cells, which induced cell apoptosis via mitochondrial pathways.
