Novel cajaninstilbene acid derivatives as antibacterial agents

A series of cajaninstilbene acid derivatives were designed and synthesized, meanwhile, their antibacterial activities were evaluated. Compounds 5j and 5k showed potent antibacterial activities against gram-positive bacterial strains and MRSA.
