Synthesis of naphthofuranquinones with activity against Trypanosoma cruzi

Naphthofuranquinones synthesized from 2-hydroxy-3-allylnaphthoquinone (1) and nor-lapachol (2) were active against trypomastigotes of Trypanosoma cruzi with IC50/24 h in the range of 157-640 μM.
