The objective of this study was to control the free areas within AR glass strands to induce controlled telescopic bonding during the service life of textile fabric cement-based composite using organic (polymers) and inorganic (pozzolanic) nanoparticles (fillers) with two particle sizes and glass transition temperatures. Wet (one step) and dry (two-step) production methodologies were used to prepare the composites. Their tensile behavior after two aging periods was studied and supported with microstructure observations. It was found that composite properties were strongly influenced by adding filler particles to the glass bundle and that the magnitude and efficiency of the modification was highly dependent on filler particle type, structure, and production method. The best initial mechanical performances and durability were obtained with large particle silica fume filler (200 nm) for both production methods.
