Different morphologies of the dry physical gels as a function of the sample preparation method

► Xerogels obtained by drying physical gels were studied. ► As a gelator glucofuranose derivatives were used. ► Xerogels morphology may be affected by sample preparation method. ► Time, temperature and sample capacity may influence xerogel morphology. ► All changes of xerogels run from amorphous to crystalline character.
